Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone had a good Christmas.  Mine was great, a little hectic as always but it was a very good time.  I had to do a bunch of traveling before and after and as many of you probably saw the weather wasn’t very forgiving around the country.

I wanted to give everyone a quick update.  I have been working on a couple blow out specials to bring in the new year.  They will be some nice packages that include a good selection of different self defense products.  Right now everyone is doing the “End Of The Year Sale”  but I’m not going to do that.  What you ask?  Because everyone is doing it!

Instead I want to do something to help everyone welcome the new year.  So shortly after 2009 begins I’m going to be doing a killer special for everyone to take advantage of.  For those of you who are members of my monthly newsletter you know how amazing the packages can be and I promise this one will not disapoint.  I’m gonna leave the details for a later post but trust me, you don’t want to miss it so keep your eyes on the blog.

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to leave a quick post today.  There is something that I have been heavily promoting for this holiday season.  I know most of us out there are on a lot smaller budget for the holidays so any gifts that we do buy have to count.

This year instead of getting your loved ones something they will never use, get the something that could save their life.

Imagine your loved one finds themselves in a situation where their life could be in danger by a mugger. In a situation like this those wool socks you got them ( as stylish as they may be) won’t do them any good.

What if they found themselves in a situation like that and they reached into their purse and pull out the lipstick pepper spray that you bought for them. They give that bad guy a good blast and they get away without getting hurt. I’m sure you can see how grateful they would be for your gift.

So the moral is, this year get your loved ones something that could save their life. I’m sure they will appreciate it.

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to give everyone an update on the keychain pepper spray promotion that we are currently running. For those of you that have not heard of it, we are offering our injection molded holster keychain pepper spray for our wholesale price of $3.25. If you are not familiar with the price of products like this they are normally sold for between 10-15 dolor’s. So as you can see it is a pretty good deal.

The way I look at it, money is tight for all of us this holiday season. Instead of going out and getting a gift for someone they will never use, you should get something that could potentially save their life. Bottom line is with the economy down the crime rate is up there is no better gift you can give than saving a life.

So anyway, back to the point of this post. We have been running the promotion for about 3 weeks now and the response has been nothing short of amazing. When I started doing it I figured everyone may just grab 1 or 2 of them but we have had some really big orders come in. Most people are not only getting 1 for themselves they are getting on for every single member of their family. And I’m glad to say that everyone is very pleased and the word is spreading like wildfire.

There have been a few days when we had to pull it down because our warehouse was cleaned out but we took care of the quickly.

I plan on keeping this promotion open until our manufacture gets sick of us for giving them so much work. But I’m willing to take the risk in upsetting them because I want make sure everyone out there can take the first step to living a safer life without spending a bunch of money.

I wanted to let everyone that we have finally have won the battle with out merchant bank.  For those of you that were not aware, the company that handles our payment processing did not want us to sell stun guns.  They believe it was too much of a risk for them.

I have been in the process of going up the ladder with their company, giving them proof that stun guns are really not that big of a risk as long as the laws that govern them are followed. There was a gentle me of the age of 46 that was delivering pizza in Shelby North Carolina. He had been doing it for a while so he knew the dangers associated with the job. When you work in a big city delivering anything you put yourself in a lot of danger and self defense is always a concern. Think about it, who doesn’t like pizza? Almost everyone likes it, from the rich all the way down the lowly criminals.

So this pizza guy was sent out for a delivery that seems a little strange. The person that had called and order the pizza stated he had just bought the house and had not turned on the electricity so there would be no lights on. Obviously this set off a few red flags but they still offered to deliver pizza there.

So there pizza man heads out. When it gets there he has a really uneasy feeling about the situation. As he approaches the house it just doesn’t seem right. All of a sudden an armed gunmen steps out of the shadows. This individual demands the delivery mans money and his pizza.

But these hooligans had messed with the wrong person. This pizza man had delt with situations like this before. Knowing the dangers of this job he armed himself with pepper spray. When the crooks demanded money he flat out told him no. And then followed that with a big blast of pepper spray knocking the gunmen to his knees. Just then another gunmen stepped out of the shadows.

The delivery man turns tail and runs. He made it to his truck and got away.

This is story is defiantly a little scary. But it goes to show you just how effective pepper spray can be. His little bottle of pepper spray that probably cost him 10 dolor’s saved his life.

This just goes to show that everyday all of us are put in dangerous situations and the difference between life and death is in how well you prepare.

So to everyone out there this should be a lesson. Life throws us curve balls when we lease expect it. So will you be caught off guard?
